BOSTON AVENUE METHODIST CHURCH 1301 S. Boston http://www.bostonavenueumc.org/ This church is one of many downtown examples of Art Deco style and is Tulsa's only National Historical Landmark. It was completed in 1928. July 29, 2000 |

BLUE DOME SERVICE STATION
This 1925 art deco Chastain Oil Filling Station was Tulsa's first station to have compressed-air pumps and restrooms with hot and cold running water. I am glad to report when this photo was taken, the Blue Dome was in the process of being restored. July 29, 2000 |
